Brrr!! Well, I guess winter showed up in full force this week. Hopefully, the ginger broth has been warming and comforting for you as you navigate these colder days.
As we tuck into the heart of winter, I have something special just for you. One of the hardest parts of the first trimester is feeling like you’re stuck in “survival mode”—just trying to make it through each hour. But what if you could move from simply powering through to truly thriving?
** Nausea and Anxiety Relief

I want to share a story with you about a mama I worked with. She came to me during her second pregnancy, suffering from intense nausea and deep-seated anxiety. Because her first pregnancy and birth had been quite difficult, she was already on high alert. When she experienced some spotting and cramping in those first few weeks, her fear of loss became overwhelming.

By the time we sat down together, she was exhausted, losing weight, and her nausea was at a 7 or 8 out of 10. After just one session, that nausea dropped to a 5. A week later, after a stressful appointment where a care provider focused heavily on risks and concerns, her symptoms flared back up to a 7. Fear and the physical body are so deeply intertwined! We went back to work, bringing her down to a 4, and eventually down to a 2. She was able to move through the rest of her pregnancy with little to no nausea, eventually delivering a healthy, full-term baby right at home.
It is such a gift to watch the body soften and find its way back to balance when we give both our physical symptoms and our heavy emotions the space they need to be heard.

I am hosting The Intuitive First Trimester Workshop (https://twoheartshealing.info/contact/intuitive-first-trimester/) as a complimentary event for this community. What we’re diving into:
* Sensory Reboot: Have you ever noticed how a specific smell or even a certain light in a room can immediately trigger a wave of nausea? I’ll cover how your brain interprets these triggers, and some things you can do to take back a sense of control over your environment.
* Settle your Vagus Nerve: Your Vagus nerve is the “on/off” switch for your nervous system. When it’s over-stimulated, we stay stuck in “Fight or Flight” (hello, nausea and anxiety). We will practice simple, gentle physical movements to toggle your system back into “Rest and Digest,” inviting calm, connection, and ease back into your body.
* Muscle Testing for Relief: I will demonstrate basic muscle testing to help you identify and release specific emotions that may be intensifying your physical symptoms. It is a beautiful way to communicate directly with your body’s wisdom.
* Two-Minute Chakra Reset: Energy flow is key to feeling like yourself again. I will provide a simple chakra reset and alignment tool that only takes about 2 minutes but can completely shift your internal landscape.
In my years as a doula and practitioner, I’ve seen how these physical and energetic tools perfectly complement the clearing we do. By addressing both the body and the spirit, we create a path for a more vibrant, joyful pregnancy.
